Trade Merchandising Trainee

The Regional Architecture Department is part of Parfums Christian Dior Orient and is in charge of 43 countries across the Middle East, Africa and India.

Within the Trade Merchandising Team, you will assist the team in the creation and design of small retail trade and VM animations under the guidance of the Trade Merchandising Project Manager and the wider team to ensure an excellent in-store experience as per the Maison standards.

YOUR MISSION ____________

Your main assignment will be focused on:

Support in Trade Animations (Off-counter):

• Assist in Design of small popups, animations & events following brand guidelines.
• Adaptation of international guidelines and tailoring to local retailer briefs.
• Support on technical packages and review of technical drawings.
• Assisting in creation of bespoke opening books and guidelines for popup operations.

Support in VM Animations (On-counter):

• Support the implementation of on-counter VM plan.
• Help the local and regional VM and Architecture teams in developing on-counter VM animations.
• Assist in the tailoring of global VM guidelines to enhance our boutique & flagship doors.
• Support the adaptation of generic VM to bespoke POS windows, animation walls and spaces.
• Contribute on the review of technical drawings, production, and installation of on-counter animations.

• Graduate in Design and or Architecture with an interest in Retail and Cosmetic Industry.
• Knowledge of Sketchup, Photoshop, Illustrator, Office, and any 3D modelling tools.
• Ability to communicate in English essential (Written & Verbal). French / Arabic knowledge is a plus.
• Keenness to learn and take initiative.
