DFS Okinawa K.K. is looking for a Senior Visual Merchandising Manager who will be in charge of the operations of the VM team and managing the VM program to contribute to the growth of the
company and deliver an unforgettable experience for customers.
This position will report to Visual Merchandising Director.
Responsibilities
- Work with stakeholders (marketing & store) to launch successful campaigns.
- Ensure the customer journey during renovations are seamless and effortless.
- Develop and translate our merchandise and store visual display strategies into reality.
- Develop new and exciting merchandising stores and lifestyle concepts.
- Supervise, guide and direct display staff for desired line of action and promote work team spirit.
- Ensure timely installations of all projects.
- Secure optimal quotes on materials and services for display and signing projects.Manage the quality and output of the signage & production department.
- Meet with Sales Managers / General Manager regularly to agree on job requirements for shop display and signings.
- Develop and manage the VM budgets.
Profil
Educational Requirements :
Art Education in Art School or related courses (e.g. Fashion Design, Graphics, Fine Arts, etc.)
Work Experience:
Min. 5 years’ experience in retail displays and similar commercial art experiences.
Language:
Fluency in English is the must. Fluency in Japanese is a plus
Skills:
- Basic Adobe Photoshop/Illustrator
- Microsoft software especially PowerPoint Presentations and Excel
Working Conditions / Environment:
- Night shifts
- Frequent travel to airport and possible other locations in future
