LVMH-PCIS (Perfumes & Cosmetics Information Services) manages the worldwide information systems for the Perfumes and Cosmetics Maisons such as: Christian Dior, Givenchy, Guerlain, Kenzo, LVMH Research, MAKE UP FOR EVER.
We are looking for a System Analyst in Hong Kong who will manage Retail and CRM projects.
Playing a key role in the IS regional team, s/he will work with central PCIS and business units to roll-out global and regional projects in Asia Pacific in a secure and cost-effective way.
S/He will contribute to supporting and deploying POS / CRM solution (30+ markets Worldwide) which is integrated into a regional Microsoft AX Platform / POS System / BI DataMart.
Complying with PCIS guidelines, s/he will be responsible for:
. Management of projects or sub-projects:
maintain project status and related documentations, coordinate project related activities, including planning timelines, scheduling meetings, coordinating resources, and tracking performance.
. Analysis and Design:
coordinate meetings and interactions with business users to define and structure requirements, participate in the analysis, definition and documentation of requirements, lead the creation and documentation of detailed solution designs.
. Development of applications:
interact with vendors to convert designs and specifications into computer programs following programming standards and best practices.
. Testing and Documentation:
create test scenarios and run tests to find errors and confirm that applications meet specifications.
. Technical Production Support of applications:
provide technical assistance by responding to enquiries from other markets regarding errors, problems or questions about programs, train any required technical support staff to use, test, and support programs.
. Program Deployment:
create deployment packages and deployment-related documentation.
. Coordination with Markets:
coordinate with markets to transfer project ownership towards local support & maintenance and create reusable assets by the markets.
. University degree in Computer Science or related field . Excellent spoken and written English
. Understanding of business and translating requirements into solutions: a first experience working directly with end users in retail is required
. Understanding of technical environments (MS SQL, BI, etc): ability to help structure technical support
. Design skills to formalize requirements with key users and translate into detailed design for vendor quotation and development
. Pragmatic and proactive, and the ability to work independently
. Organised, able to provide regular and consistent reporting
