Acting as a Brand Ambassador, the Store Manager will be responsible for the daily business and operations of our new store in Amsterdam, opening in August 2019. He/She will drive sales performances, develop talents within his/her team, while following the brand creative strategy and image. Your assignments will be: - Brand ambassador . Ensure brand strategy is respected . Act as a "Local market manager" . Lead by example and ensure perfect execution in store - Sales management . Set ambitious targets and coach the team to achieve them, on a daily basis . Maintain good visual standards and follow VM guidelines . Manage stocks to ensure a consistent offer and a constant products availability . Create and develop a customer database - People management . Recruit team members and develop talents . Plan monthly meetings with the whole team . Follow each Sales Associate's performance through monthly one to ones - Reporting and stock management . Handle weekly trade report, leading to action plans . Minimize stock losses by following procedures « coming from Central » and handling regular checks in store . Ensure all admin duties are duly handled

Profil

Education and Experience - Education: to Degree level or above - Experience: minimum of 6 years' experience in Retail, minimum of 3 years' managing people - Software: Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Outlook - Good team player and ability to work on own - Good knowledge of Dutch Retail Laws, security and Health and Safety Legislation Person Specification - Ability to effectively and successfully lead and manage a team - Strong and demonstrable commercial acumen - A passion for customer service and sales floor focused - Ability to prioritize for self and the team, and be able to multi task - Ability to establish a proactive approach in tackling issues and seek to identify and implement solutions - Proactive and positive in approach - Able to communicate effectively with all internal and external customers and at all levels of the organization - Autonomous and resourceful - Excellent communication skills both written and oral
