E-Travel Retail is a new and rapidly growing activity that involves working with Travel Retailers, primarily situated in international airports, to create online spaces on their websites for travelers to order products in advance of their travels and pick them up at the airport. The activity also encompasses other online activities within the travel context, including targeting global travelers, creating dedicated online campaigns and providing additional services to travelers by leveraging digital tools and platforms. Shopping on e-travel retail websites is particularly popular amongst Asian travelers but the service is quickly becoming developed by travel retailers globally to provide a homogenous online experience for global shoppers who are increasingly digitally connected.

 

We need you to:

  1. Develop brand dedicated spaces on e-travel retail sites to drive online sales within the travel retail industry, with a cross-regional scope and focus on Chinese travelers
  2. Animate the concerned e-travel retail sites with e-trade campaigns and leverage other online media to drive traffic to these sites and to physical travel retail stores

 

CONTEXT OF THE PROPOSED INTERNSHIP

Work within the International e-Retail team to assist regional Travel Retail teams to develop and drive growth within e-Travel Retail (driving online sales, creating e-trade campaigns and leveraging paid, earned and social media).

 

  1. Develop brand dedicated spaces on e-travel retail sites to drive online sales within the travel retail industry, with a cross-regional scope and focus on Chinese travelers
  • Make digital assets available to regional teams and / or directly to retailers
  • Support online product assortment definition
  • Coordinate the timely production of content with agencies in formats needed by regions or directly for retailers
  • Monitor brands' presence on e-travel retail websites
  • Evaluate new potential e-travel retail websites through qualitative and quantitative analysis
  •  
  1. Animate the concerned e-travel retail sites with e-trade campaigns and leverage online media to drive traffic to these sites and to physical travel retail stores
  • Maintain detailed e-trade activities calendar in collaboration with regional teams
  • Make e-trade content available to regional teams and / or directly to e-travel retailers
  • Manage e-travel retail influencer / KOL campaigns
  • Report on best practices, trends and activities within digital in travel retail, including but not limited to e-trade, SEM, paid media, social media and omnichannel activities
  • Use data, business intelligence reporting and consumer profiling to better understand the connected travel retail client and create best in class digital campaigns

Profil

YOUR PROFILE

  • You are preparing a Master's degree in a Business school or equivalent.
  • You have a previous experience in E-business : e-retail, e-commerce or social commerce and a good understanding of best practices across social platforms : WeChat, Weibo, Instagram, Facebook and more
  • You are familiar with affiliate marketing, programmatic, SEM and online media buying and interested in influence marketing
  • You native in Chinese, and fluent in both French and English.
