Located in Castilla y Leon (2h from Madrid) and under the responsibility of the Estate Director, you will assist on the implementation of all winery on-site events, wine communication actions and visitor center development, in accordance with the Brand marketing & communication strategy.

 

Your main responsibilities will be:

 

Local Events

  • Responsible of the logistics for the main events of the winery:
    • Development & production of related materials
    • Decoration as per theme events
    • Catering, equipment hire, transport, booking of activities
    • Communication of itinerary & agreed participants with winemakers & other staffs
    • Generating briefing documents for winery staff
  • Ensure all materials related to VIP visits (including tasting booklets, new release packs, etc) are well maintained quantitatively & qualitatively.

 

 Wine Communication & PR

  • Working closely with the Winery team & the Marketing Manager based in Paris:
  • Produce regular information on wine & winemaking such as winemaking philosophy, wine style, new vintages, ratings, awards, etc
  • Assist in developing communication tools (tasting notes, leaflets, brochures, etc) on wine related information
  • With the Estate Director and the markets, coordinate winemakers travels programme
  • When needed, participate in wine related on-line contents & support for social medias management
  • Participate in all winery driven communication & PR activities on site, and act as a Brand Ambassador when required

 

Visitor Center

  • Contribute to the increase of the Visitor Center offer and visitors' number
  • In charge of the direct sales activity at the winery
  • Participate in visitors' experiences (tours and tastings) and sales
  • Ensure consistency of the preparation & breakdown of private wine tastings for VIP visitors

 

 


Profil

 

Education:

Tertiary qualifications in event management, marketing/communication, hospitality field or Business School

 

Experiences:

1st experience & skills in Event or Sales - operationally focused

 

Languages:

Fluent Spanish & English mandatory, French a plus

 

Technical skills:

Power Point, Excel, Word proficient

 

Personal & interpersonal skills:

  • Solid interpersonal communication skills
  • Advanced hospitality or customer service experience
  • Customer relationship building
  • Rigorous in planning and priority setting
  • Flexibility: willingness to help with projects as needed, problem solving and able to be innovative and creative
