Reporting to the Sales Director, the Senior Area Manager has a multi-faceted role: team manager, business leader, thorough negotiator and brand advocate. The person is responsible for one key account (travel retail operator) in the European market.
Develop the Brand relationship with the retailer securing excellent brand penetration and visibility within a multi-country perimeter
Develop a yearly business plan with the retailer to maximize sales, leveraging the brand authority, the product marketing plan, the animations calendar and the brand agenda
Negotiate excellent brand conditions regarding pricing, merchandising, media, incentives, space allocated, etc.
Manage budget and P&L ensuring the best possible profitability by optimizing and controlling the expenses
Protect the Brand image and reputation thanks to an adequate business follow up and execution in POS
Manage and motivate a large team consisting of Retail Managers and Training Managers on the field, Beauty Consultants, Sales Support Assistant and an Account Developer in the office
Drive performance and monitor the activity the KPIs through weekly/monthly business reports
International Business school with 8+ years of experience in retail management, KAM and marketing. Successful experience within the retail industry appreciated. At ease with multi-cultural environment to build strong relationships within the area
