24S is the new shopping destination for luxury fashion online. As part of its development, we are looking for a menswear & accessories Buying Manager to develop the men's category. Joining a young and dynamic company, you will report into the Buying Director. The menswear & accessories Buying Manager will be responsible for the Menswear & Accessories Buying team, He/she will be also in charge of the development and management of seasonal collections, including prospecting, buying, sales analysis, in-season trading, monitoring the critical path and managing the Buying Coordinator.
You will be in charge of translating accessories / fashion trends into strong commercial assortments relevant for our customers with the sales feedbacks in order to increase sell thrus.
You'll be working closely together with the Data Analyst and the Merchandising team to buy the best brands and assortments for the season, deciding on quantities, sizes and prices.
You'll be responsible for meeting budgetary sales and margin targets through negotiating relevant commercial terms and constantly monitoring and managing commercial success (incl. Product lifecycle management, pricing, promotions, sales initiatives)
You will be responsible of building the OTB strategy per season for your scope. As well as identifying and developing suppliers and the maintenance of an excellent supplier network as well as negotiating conditions and special events.
You will manage the interfaces with internal departments throughout the company, e.g. merchandising, marketing, legal and creative teams to push your selections on the site.
You will be responsible to manage the Buying Coordinator and another Menswear & Accessories Buyer, and overview of the whole collection assortment, together with management.
Proactive, you will be the 1st to check and propose products changes on the site hand in hand with the merchandising team.
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE
You have more than 8 years of professional experience in Buying.
You have proven experience in developing a relevant buying strategy based on strong data analysis reports, buying collections and sustaining it successfully with a focus on Ready to Wear or Accessories for men.
You have a sharp fashion eye and profound industry knowledge to recognize new trends paired with strong analytical skills for a clear vision towards RTW or Accessories performance collections
You bring along skills and assertiveness in supplier negotiations
You have excellent proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (especially Excel and crossed dynamic dashboards) and, ideally, prior experience in working with ERP systems
You are flexible and think fast, work proactively and always keep on top of things even in a very dynamic and fast-paced environment
