The Global Travel Retail works in close relationship with its main customers to deliver unique brand experiences in the biggest Airports and Cruises Lines across the world. In the highly dynamic environment of Travel Retail, our team are dedicated to share and promote with passion the excellence of our Wines & Spirits portfolio.
As part of the Travel Retail North America Team, based in Miami, your missions will be to enhance the luxury positioning of the MH portfolio and support growth by setting change in Travel Retail NA. Frequent travelling is required approximately 40% of the year.
1) Airport Retail
> Develop and improve brand visibility and performance at point of sales
> Roll out of permanent merchandising programs and visual merchandising programs
> Implementation of instore tools to measure and improve performance such as Planogramming, KPIs and store classification
> Develop tools to organize and assist in-field program execution for Sales Ambassadors and Supervisors
> Regularly visit key airports and stores to identify opportunities and needs
2) Cruise Lines
> Develop innovative on-premise programming BTG, BTB and cocktail for location specific needs including: restaurants, pools, private islands, bar, in-room and nightclub
> Roll out on premise programming for top cruise line accounts.
> Develop tools to organize and assist in-field program execution for Sales Supervisors
> Identify methods to engage beverage staff on-ship and at corporate headquarters
> Sail with key cruise line accounts to identify opportunities and needs
3) Brand Development
> Assist marketing director to build the annual marketing brand plan and support implementation at key accounts in collaboration with sales team
> Grow PR and digital programming as it relates to airports and cruise lines to drive MH brand visibility and share activations
> Compile business performance updates including: market analysis, competition information and marketing ROI analysis
> Identify growth opportunities on the field and develop appropriate tools
> Support the Sales Team with sell-out initiatives and customer-oriented tools
> Develop a network of expert agencies (creative and merchandising) ensuring MH Audit full compliancy
> Proactively monitor and evaluate competitor operational activities including promotional & merchandising activity, category management and advertising
> Lead VIE to monitor POSM flows and stocks ensuring team's needs
> Identify and recommend investment priorities for visibility and activation programs
> Build strong working relationship with Global Travel Retail marketing and visual merchandising teams in Paris via regular meetings, communication and project updates
> Manage the interface with Maison BDM/Merchandising managers
> Ensure a strong working knowledge of key strategic customers to effectively build annual program calendars.
University degree or above
Professional experience & know how: 5 years of relevant experience in wines & spirits or in the Luxury goods industry, knowledge of wines & spirits and a good understanding of luxury brands, in Travel Retail would be a plus.
Technical & management skills: strong communication and interpersonal skills across all levels of organization, ability to work across different cultural environments, excellent project planning & management skills. High level of computer literacy in MS Office (Word, Excel and Powerpoint).
Personal & interpersonal skills: charismatic, highly motivated & proactive, cross cultural sensitivity, mature & ability to function independently
Languages: Excellent spoken and written English, another language is a plus
