Poste

The International PR Director is responsible for the global media strategy and media communication for the TAG Heuer Brand. This includes responsibility for PR strategy and implementation of PR activation for brand activation, product storytelling, event and ambassador activation, corporate communication and special projects.

This means working closely with the management team and the broader marketing and product teams. The job holder will shape and roll out key messages and activations for media and handle all press related matters.

 

Missions

  • Creation and implementation of the TAG Heuer PR strategy across brand, product and corporate communication
  • Lead all global PR events, from strategy to concepting and implementation, working closely with the Events team to amplify the impact of all major TAG Heuer events such as Monaco Grand Prix, Geneva Days and major product launches
  • Be in charge of the holistic communication and alignment of the internal and external global PR network to ensure global consistency and impact
  • Together with brand management, craft impactful messages and orchestrate roll out for brand and product communication for optimal coverage in traditional and digital media
  • Work closely with the Product & Innovation team to ensure impactful messages to support new product launches and showcase innovations
  • Concept and create PR tools targeting a variety of media including but not limited to imagery, press releases, press gifts, FAQs
  • Together with the digital and social team, create tools and stories for macro and micro influencers
  • Build network with VIP journalists and influencers and develop/fine tune the global media database, diversifying the type of media and including new journalists
  • Responsible for media strategy and accountability for implementation of the same for CEO
  • Manage crisis communication
  • Ensure communication and alignment with the LVMH group on PR related topics
  • Partner with VIP journalists and internal resources to develop in-depth content and determine the messaging axes to support the brand strategy
  • Monitor and analyze the coverage and clippings worldwide and update all parties on the PR returns
  • Together with HR and other key departments, establish a comprehensive CSR program (identify the cause and get the program off the ground)
  • Develop creative PR stunts to generate exposure and consumer interest
  • Lead local markets PR teams in planning and execution of all major PR activities. Coach the teams to become better and more closely aligned with HQ
  • Manage a portfolio of agencies
  • Effectively monitor the overall impact of PR activities in key markets

Profil

 

  • Excellent interpersonal/communication skills and managerial level of strategic and creative thinking
  • Ability to combine a strategic mindset with execution
  • Advanced experience in project management, excellent presentation and organizational skills
  • Academic and professional understanding of an ever-changing media and KOL landscape
  • Proven networking abilities and established network of journalists and key opinion leaders
  • Experience in dealing with senior and high-profile stakeholders
  • Positive team player
  • Experience in global consumer goods brand, preferably in luxury/premium environment
  • 10+ years' experience in PR
  • English required; French appreciated
