We are looking for a Team Leader position that will report directly into the CDO and oversees a team of 14 people to manage Merchandising and Content to grow the global E-Commerce business on DIOR.COM

 

Merchandising & Buying Strategy

> Set and further develop the global merchandising strategy for E-Com to fulfil the given growth targets. Support the zones to localize the assortment strategies based on the historical performance and local needs

> Adapt the merchandising strategy by universe (i.e. Men vs Women or Fashion vs. Jewellery or Maison)

> Apply the merchandising strategy to each collection during the Show Room (buying period) and make sure that the zones buy within the given guidelines

> Readjust and discuss the given OTB targets based on the individual potential of each collection and discuss with relevant stakeholders

> Coordinate with the Business Units centrally and Buyers by zone to ensure the E-com buying strategy is consistent to achieve the Business targets by zone.

> Work with the Business Units and local Merchandising teams on special product animations (exclusivity, pre-launches, etc.)

> Prepare the pre-debrief and debrief presentation together with the zones (ideal format tbd)

> Define and share the seasonal merchandising calendar (based on the given waves plus local requirements)

 

Merchandising Performance Management

> Set the global merchandising guidelines by Universe/Category and enable the zones to localise their onsite offer within the given rules

> Assure a merchandising based on the seasonal merchandising calendar

> Coordinate the online launches in each E-Commerce markets in interaction with Local E-commerce Manager

> Build and provide to the zones a category performance report to discuss the sell-trough vs budget and retail

> Discuss on a regular basis the current sell through performance with the local teams and derive immediate actions (e-merchandising, stock management, marketing performance, animation)

> Co-develop the newsletter plan with CRM related to the seasonal calendar & the products performances

> Furtherdevelop the E-Merchandising tool based on business rules to enable daily agile real time merchandising

> Proactive stock management together with supply chain to avoid out off stock and to optimize sell-through

 

Animation & Content Management

> Build and coordinate the Worldwide online animation plan for each season & each zone based on the global strategy and potential local adaptations (i.e. local capsules, events, 11/11)

> Plan (+innovate) and coordinate the creative execution together with the communication and marketing teams

> Manage the asset production for all catalogues related content in terms of images, videos, and product descriptions

> Coordinate the activation of products related content onsite and with other communication channels (i.e. with Social or Performance Marketing)

> Manage and upload the editorial content for Dior.com including History, Dior Mag, Fashion Shows, exhibitions and special events

> Coordinate the copywriting agency to improve the quality of the product description and supervise the translation agency

 


Profil

  • Team player, self-motivated, digital-savy, detail-and customer-oriented, with a strong sense of ownership and drive
  • Agile and adaptable in a fast growing environment
  • Strong business mindset with analytical skills
  • Experience working with various level of stakeholders and ability to articulate product strategies to different teams
  • Passionate with a creative mind-set, while fully understanding the luxury service standard
  • More than 10 years of experience in Luxury Fashion
  • More than 4 years of experience in e-commerce
  • Proven Leadership Skills
  • Fluent in English and French (mandatory)
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Merchandising, e-Commerce, or related discipline
