POSITION
RIMOWA has a unique opportunity for a training manager to join the team to support on the development and implementation of retail learning programmes to embed a first-in-class team and client experience within the brand, leading to excellent commercial results. The manager will primarily be responsible for developing a training pathway strategy and subsequently driving its implementation together with regional teams. A key focus will be the implementation of a digital learning strategy and associated platform. You will train and coach our managers and client advisors to become ambassadors of brand values, culture and products. You will define the roll-out plan to best contribute to business growth, answering to the needs of the stores through selling skills, product training and active coaching, coupled with e-learning. A key partner to senior leaders in influencing change, the retail training manager will facilitate building a client centric mindset, driving the in-store experience and creating a culture of service excellence.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Create retail training roadmap and drive its implementation
- Create an in-store coaching culture
- Develop new training tools for stores (e.g. in store toolkit, especially e-learning tools etc.)
- Act as key partner to regional directors and store managers in coaching their teams
- In collaboration with marketing, actively facilitate product training, including new launches, for store population
- Monitor the quality and impact of all in-store training via follow up & shop floor presence to ensure true retention of training contents
- Act as a platform for sharing best practices across regions
- Leverage client feedback and mystery shopping results
- Reporting on trends & KPIs to senior team
- Lead by example
Profil
We would like to speak to professionals who possess a Bachelor's degree in conjunction with at least 5 years' experience in in developing and implementing a training strategy based on client-centric mindset, within an international environment. Furthermore:
- Experience in working with digital learning solutions highly desired
- Creative, curious and entrepreneurial mindset to help develop and drive new initiatives
- Strong commercial mindset / familiarity with business analysis and KPIs
- Exceptional & effective communication skills, both verbally and in writing
- Proven capability to coach and influence others
- Capability to deliver feedback at any level of the organisation
- Superior organisation & planning skills
- Ability to work independently and within a team
- Previous experience in (luxury) retail a must
- Additional languages considered a strong plus
- Passion for retail & travel
