Within the E Commerce Department, your mission is to drive the online product strategies to maximize the E-commerce sales through the product buys, the online collection launches and the business monitoring.

You Manage a team of 2 Merchandisers & 1 intern.


Merchandising & Buying Strategy

  • Set and further develop the global merchandising strategy for E-Com to fulfil the given growth targets and adapt the merchandising strategy by universe (Men, Baby)
  • Work closely with International E-Commerce manager & Supply chain on setting up the OTB target at a zone & category level
  • Define the Buying Strategy & support the zones by coordinating the E-Commerce buys
  • Apply the merchandising strategy to each collection during the Show Room (buying period) and make sure that the zones buy within the given guidelines
  • Readjust and discuss the given OTB targets based on the individual potential of each collection and discuss with relevant stakeholders
  • Coordinate with the Business Units centrally and Local Merchandising team to ensure the E-com buying strategy is consistent to achieve the Business targets by zone
  • Work with the business units and Local Merchandising teams on special product animations (exclusivity, pre-launches, etc.)
  • Define and share the seasonal merchandising calendar (based on the given waves & local requirements)

Merchandising Performance Management

  • Develop a worldwide & local onsite merchandising strategy based on the seasonal merchandising calendar
  • Define the weekly onsite Animation Plan in collaboration with the Content Team
  • Create Merchandising guidelines about how to arrange the assortment to maximize sell through rate
  • Coordinate the online launches in each E-Commerce markets interacted with Local E-commerce Manager of each zone
  • Ensure the guidelines are followed by the zones & challenge their visual merchandising
  • Assure a consistency between the onsite merchandising and the marketing activities (social, press, VM...)
  • Build and monitor a weekly reporting to be shared with BU & Buyers to actively manage the ecommerce stock including Sell Thru by category & sku, delivery/out of stock, return rates, subscribers, search inquiries, back in stock alerts
  • Discuss on a weekly basis the current sell through performance with each local team and drive immediate actions (e-merchandising, stock management, marketing, animation)
  • Attend weekly meeting with CRM to adjust the Newsletter calendar and define the themes and the products to be pushed
  • Discuss with Marketing Performance on a weekly basis to guide the products to be promoted on their acquisition campaign
  • Set up monthly meeting with the BU to share the business performance and to define international merchandising guidelines making sure the website reflects the BU strategy
  • Coordinate the work of the Merchandisers to prepare all launches (cross-selling, attributes in the PIM...)
  • Work closely with the Content team to get all assets on time for the launches


  • Team player, self-motivated, digital-savy, detail-and customer-oriented, with a strong sense of ownership and drive
  • Agile and adaptable in a fast growing environment
  • Strong business mindset with analytical skills
  • Experience working with various level of stakeholders and ability to articulate product strategies to different teams
  • Passionate with a creative mind-set, while fully understanding the luxury service standard
  • 5-7 years of experience in digital merchandising or related role
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Merchandising, e-Commerce, or related disciplines
  • Luxury experience is an advantage
