Until end of year 2019, act as a Key User for SAP FICO implementation in Germany, Austria, Switzerland (3 legal entities) & participate to training & solution testing.
From January 2020 onwards, be in charge of accounting activities of one to several Christian Dior legal entities, under the supervision of the Central Europe Accounting Manager
Responsibilities & key activities
Perform Accounting operations on all flows & processes, notably:
-Accounts Payable: invoices booking, suppliers payment runs, master data creation, ...
-Accounts Receivable: sales & payments reconciliation
-Cash management: bank reconciliations (in & out)
-General Ledger (GL): GL postings (such as payroll postings), accruals follow-up, ...
-Assets Accounting: asset depreciation, master data creation, ...
-Tax management: VAT postings, other tax postings, VAT declaration, tax payments, ...
-Ensure respect of Dior & LVMH deadlines for monthly, quarterly & yearly closings and reporting requirements
-Produce and analyze financial reports & statements for local GAAP and IFRS
-Support the Accounting Manager during annual audits Support the Accounting Manager on specific projects (for example new processes & systems implementation)
Reporting line & main interactions
Direct Reporting to the Central Europe Accounting Manager Internal: interactions with Central Europe Finance team (Accounting & Controlling), operational teams, boutiques, Europe Finance team External: interactions notably with our suppliers, banks, auditors, local tax advisors, local payroll partners
Master's degree or University degree in Finance / Economics / Accounting (ideally Certified Accountant)
Proven knowledge of accounting principles, standards & regulations
At least 3 to 5 years' experience in Accounting
Fluent in English and German. Knowledge of other European languages (French) is a plus.
SAP FI-CO expertise; COUPA knowledge is a plus.
