LVMH brings together a large and unique range of brands and talents. To enhance these intangible assets it was essential that LVMH senior executives worldwide have an opportunity to meet and share their views on strategic issues and major business challenges facing the Group.

Hence the need to create a place where global company presidents, members of management committees and heads of subsidiaries are empowered to:
- share their knowledge and experiences,
- develop a common vision of LVMH as a "learning organization" capable of developing and retaining its human capital,
- develop and enhance synergies through cross-fertilization between all companies and functions within the Group.
The concept was developed in September 1999.
